A small backpack will be fine but it will be searched. You are not allowed to take food or drink in, they do however allow a small bottle of water and sweets eg the sort you can suck. They do stress before the start of the show not to be annoying making a noise with wrappers etc as this spoils the enjoyment of others. A pity the person behind me didn’t take notice as they were unwrapping and munching for the whole 2 1/2 of the first show!!
